Lord Gus O’Donnell, former Head of the Civil Service talked about FED in his evidence to a House of Commons enquiry into the future of the Civil Service:

The Head of the Foreign Office, Simon Fraser, invited Steve to speak at their annual conference alongside David Cameron, William Hague and Seb Coe. Simon made sure every British Ambassador left with a copy of the book and writes:
